The cost of flu and pneumonia shots is covered by Medicare Part B.  The Medicare card must be brought to the clinic.  For those not on Medicare Part B there is a fee of $30 for the flu shot. The pneumonia shot is $60 but is free for those 65 years of age and older. Children 18 years and younger will receive the vaccine at no charge through the Center for Disease Control's (CDC) Vaccines for Children program.   For more information contact the Chemung County Health Department at 607-737-2028.
