August 17, 2009 ERIN---A Pennsylvania man faces animal cruelty charges after allegedly dragging dogs from his car while he drove in circles. New York State Police say 28-year old Michael Seymour of Levittown, Pennsylvania apparently got mad at his two pit bulls when they got away from him. The incident happened on Park Hill Road in Erin. Police say when the dogs came back Seymour allegedly tied them to a tree and whipped them with a rope. Seymour is then accused of tying the dogs to the hitch of his truck and driving in circles. Police say the dogs were not seriously hurt. The Chemung County Humane Society and SPCA seized the dogs until the investigation is complete.
