BATH-- The Finger Lakes SPCA is striving to become a destination center for animal lovers all over. The SPCA is moving into a new center in Bath, which is more spacious and can fit more animals. Executive Director Vicki Mosgrove says the old one didn't have any natural light, had inadequate air conditioning and heating, and didn't have a lot of space for volunteers. Mosgrove invited Congressman Eric Massa to tour the facility this afternoon in order to gain his support. “We feel we offer a really important service to our community and we really want to expand what we're doing for both animals and people to support the human animal bond and the community. So we want to get as much support as we can to pull it all together,” Mosgrove said. Administrative offices have already relocated to the new facility. They still need to secure the rest of the money before construction is finished, and animals can move in.
