ELMIRA---Elmira Police arrested two people after a man was stabbed during a violent bar fight early Saturday morning.
     The fight broke out in front of Pete's Sports Bar on Broadway. Police found people attacking each other with garden hoes, sticks, and a weed whacker. Police arrested 20-year old Wilberto Ortiz III of West Elmira for stabbing one man in the stomach. The victim, Jesse Wilson, of Southport was treated at Arnot Ogden Medical Center. Ortiz is charged with second-degree assault.
     Police also arrested and charged a 16-year-old girl from Elmira for driving a car onto the sidewalk through a crowd of people. Police say she was intoxicated and did not have a license.
     Police did not identify the girl because her case might be adjudicated with youthful offender status.
