CORNING -- The United Way of the Southern Tier's 211 helpline now has a new online meeting place that makes it easier for people to both give and receive help this holiday season.
The new website 211Helpline.org gives people a chance to find help with things like home delivered meals, paying utility bills, counseling, and mental health advice.
Now it also gives people a chance to volunteer to help through donations of time or money.
"We hope this will increase access for people interested in giving or volunteering during the holiday season by providing an access point," said Sarah Grossman from the United Way.
