Heading into the first half of our weekend, some sunshine will be breaking through the clouds as high temperatures top out in the mid 30s. Thanks to some high pressure, we will be staying dry through early Sunday evening, with a high near 33. Looking ahead to Sunday Night, snow showers will begin to filter into the region with most areas in the 1-3" range of snowfall from the clipper system. Early on today a few scattered light showers will be possible ahead of an approaching cold front. Temperatures will rise into the mid 40s, nearing 49 before that front arrives. As that cold front swings in, more showers will be possible through early afternoon so have the umbrella handy. Temperatures will start to decline after the front exits the region, projecting overnight lows to bottom out near 20 degrees. Tonight clouds will linger a bit, with drier conditions expected.
