Three Chemung County Indictments
ELMIRA (WENY) -- A Chemung County man is charged with murder in an October 27th shooting on Oak Street in Elmira.
A Chemung County jury indicted 22 year-old Cornellius Speed on charges of second degree murder, first degree attempted assault, and first degree criminal use of a firearm.
Speed of accused possessing a loaded firearm,and intending to injure and kill Camboui Providence by shooting him.
Speed was arraigned in Chemung County Court and sent to the County Jail on $75,000 cash bail.
A Chemung County grand jury has indicted 43 year-old Jamie Lawson of Elmira after authorities discovered a meth lab at his home on Gray Street in October.
Lawson is charged with second degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third degree unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine.
The grand jury accuses Lawson of possessing meth, meth ingredients and laboratory equipment.
A Chemung County grad jury has indicted 21 year-old Ieisha Wilson of Elmira. Wilson is accused of possessing a fake check drawn on the account of a town court in the Rochester area.
Wilson is charged with third degree grand larceny and seconddegree criminal possession of a forged instrument. The forged check was to be drawn from the payroll account from the Greece Town Court for nearly $5,000.
Wilson is also accused of stealing more than $3,000 worth of property from Empower Federal Credit Union in Chemung County.
