Bath Woman Accused of Trying to Run Down Boyfriend
BATH (WENY) -- Bath police arrested a woman, saying she tried to run over her boyfriend with her car.
Police charged 26 year old Catherine Gilbert with Reckless Endangerment. Gilbert was allegedly driving very fast up and down Pine Street, and intentionally ran into two cars, a lawn mower and a porch. Police say Gilbert was trying to run down her boyfriend, who was on foot.
Gilbert is now in the Steuben County jail; she's due back in court on Wednesday to face more charges. Authorities say the case will also be handed over to the District Attorney, for possible grand jury action.
