Bobbie Kugler Indicted for Murder in Fatal Fire
ROCHESTER (WENY) -- A grand jury indicted a former Elmira woman for her role in the fire that killed four of her children.
Thirty-one year old Bobbie Kugler now faces four counts of 2nd degree murder, and three counts of assault for her role in fatal fire on Grape Street in February. Four of her children, 14 year old Gage Reavy, 13 year old Greg Kugler, 12 year old Kandee Kugler and 6 year old Kaiden Kugler died in the fire. The family recently moved to Rochester from Elmira.
Investigators say Bobbie Kugler started the fire by burning pictures of her former boyfriend. She escaped the flames with her 2-year-old son, Tyron. Two friends staying at the home also escaped by jumping out a second story window.
Last month, Rochester police charged Kugler with four counts of manslaughter and one count of arson. These new charges in addition to those.
