Corning Man Pleads Guilty to Federal Child Pornography Charges

ROCHESTER (WENY) -- A Corning man accused of sharing child pornography on the internet pleaded guilty in federal court.
Twenty-one year old Bryan Griswold of Corning pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography. Griswold was arrested in 2009, after a state police computer crimes unit investigation into sharing child pornography online. Griswold admitted he used an online sharing program to download and distribute images of young children being sexually exploited and abused. Police say Griswold possessed more than 600 child porn images.
Griswold is also a former employee of the Corning YMCA, where he was accused of taking sexually graphic pictures of young children he supervised there at the Child Watch Center.
Griswold now faces a maximum of 10 years in prison, and a $250,000 fine.
