CORNING, NY (WENY) -- A petition filed to stop construction on a dormitory at Corning Community College has been dismissed.
Supreme Court Judge Peter Bradstreet dismissed a petition filed by 16 neighbors opposing to the dormitory on CCC's Spencer Hill campus. The ruling lifts a temporary restraining order which stopped construction on the project.
CCC broke ground in April on an 85,000 square foot, three-story residence hall with room for more than 300 students. The project is estimated to cost more than $12 million dollars.
