Corning Phone Scam

CORNING, NY (WENY)---Businesses in the Corning area could be at a risk of a phone hacking scam. The Corning Gaffer District says any business that has multiple voice mails may be vulnerable.

Scammers are calling businesses after hours, then bypass your access code. Once they have gained this access, they can get a dial tone and make long distance calls which will be charged to the business's account.
