Media Release:

Eldrige Park will open for the 2012 season today, May 25th. The season kicks off at 5 PM with the annual, "Riderless Ride" on the Carousel, a memorial for the people integral to the rebirth of the Carousel who have passed away. Regular operating hours will be:

Friday: 5 PM to 9 PM

Saturdays: 12 PM - 9 PM

Sundays: 12 PM - 8 PM

Holidays (memorial Day, July 4th and Labor Day) 12 PM - 8 PM

• Grand Opening/Riderless Ride at 5 PM

• Weekly Carousel Cruise-in Featuring Class Cars

• The "Art" of Elvis (Elvis Impersonator) on the Summer Stage at 6

Saturday, May 26^th

• Dedication of Historical Marker by Chemung Valley History Museum at 11 AM

• All-American Festival presented by EPCPS & Vietnam Vets Chapter 803

• VVA Chapter 803 Memorial and Festival Opening Ceremony at 2:30 PM

• Bob Melnyk's Polka Magic at 3 PM

• Incoming (Classic Rock) at 4:30 PM

• KJ Williams & the Bad Truth (Country Rock) at 6 PM
