ELMIRA (WENY)---Some Southern Tier public libraries are getting money for some needed renovations.

Libraries in Steuben and Chemung Counties are approved for a 14 million dollar grant program as part of last year's budget.

The New York State Library is administering grants for renovations, upgrades, electrical wiring, computer technology and disability services.

Savona Free library is getting the most, over $74,000 dollars to restore meetings and office space and install a new book storage facility.
