HARRISBURG, PA (WENY)---Homelessness in the Marcellus Shale region is on the rise But now the Pennsylvania government is trying to address that problem by funding low-income housing throughout the region.
The Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency has announced they will dole out $2.5 million to help fund low-income housing projects. That money comes from cash collected in 2011 for the Pennsylvania Housing Affordibility and Rehabilitation Enhancement Fund.
