New Preschool Opening in Painted Post
PAINTED POST (WENY) -- Creative Kids Preschool and More is open to kids ages three through five. The co-director Kristy Bartenstein says she got the idea to open the school after seeing so many education cuts at the local, state and federal levels.
Each teacher at Creative Kids is state certified, and Bartenstein says her goal is to get kids ready for kindergarten in a fun and exciting way.
"We're all about hands-on," says Bartenstein with a smile. "We have music, we have dance, we have yoga, we have all sorts of science experiments and field trips, we're just going to be a lot of fun for the kids!"
School leaders hope to keep class sizes small, with no more than 32 students between the preschool and pre-K classes. But there are still some openings available before school starts on September 5.
