Local Owner Arrested for Synthetic Drugs

MONROETON (WENY)---A Bradford County business owner was arrested after being caught with synthetic drugs in his greenhouse.

Late last week, Pennsylvania state police searched M's Roadside Market and Greenhouse in Monroeton.

Police found the owner, 52-year-old Jody Applebee, with a number of brands of synthetic marijuana.

Applebee is charged with Intent to Deliver Controlled Substance and Possession of Controlled Substance.

He was taken to Bradford County Jail on 100-thousand dollars bail.
