Amazon Pays Employees To Quit
(WENY)- Amazon is offering an incentive to its employees to quit, cash. At first, employees are offered $2,000, after a year, it goes up to $3,000 until it hits $5,000 to quit. The offer is available for warehouse workers only. The news comes after CEO Jeff Bezos said "The goal is to encourage folks to take a moment and think about what they really want. In the long-run, and employees staying somewhere they don't want to be isn't healthy for the company." The offer is made with headlines "Please don't take this offer" but Amazon does want happy workers.
