Just one day after sacking IRS Commissioner Steven Miller, President Obama has already found a replacement. He has appointed Cornell Alum, Daniel Werfel as the new acting Commissioner of the Internal Revenue Service.
Werfel is currently the Controller of the Office of Management and Budget. In statement today, President Obama called Werfel an effective leader who can "lead the agency at this important time." He's set to takeover, May 22, and will serve through September.
