Five Years Since Miracle on the Hudson
January 15, 2014
NEW YORK (AP) -- Today marks 5 years since the incredible landing on the Hudson River by US Airways Flight 1549.
On January 15 2009, Captain 'Sully' Sullenberg safely landed the plane after a flock of geese disabled the engines. Today, Sully, and other passengers are expected to meet with some of the ferry crews who rescued them.
All 155 passengers and crew members were rescued in what became known as the Miracle on the Hudson.
