Lawyer For Bin Laden Son-In-Law Guilty In Tax Case
(WENY)- The New York lawyer who represented Osama bin Laden's son-in-law has pleaded guilty to not reporting cash payments to the IRS. Stanley Cohen was charged for under reporting cash payments from clients totaling $35,000 between 2008 and 2010. Cohen said federal authorities filed the charges in retaliation for his criminal defense work which, in which he represented people charged with terrorism crimes. He faces up to 18 months behind bars when he's sentenced in August. Cohen remains free until that time.
