Rep. Tom Reed addressed debt ceiling
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Lawmakers on Capitol Hill still can't come to an agreement on a spending plan. And now, we're just one week out from another fiscal deadline -- that's when we hit the debt ceiling.
Southern Tier Congressman Tom Reed is working on a plan he says would avoid default and fund the government for three more years, if certain requirements are met along the way -- like cuts to spending and entitlement reforms.
Today, Reed sat down with WENY Washington Correspondent Ted Fioraliso to talk about his plan.
