Frysinger Faces Rape Charges

STEUBEN CO. (WENY) -- A former Corning East High football star is facing felony charges for allegedly raping a girl after prom.
According to WENY-TV's media partner the Star-Gazette, Jordan Frysinger was arraigned Monday on three counts of first-degree rape, and a count of first-degree criminal sexual act.
Police say Frysinger and a Utica man had sex with a girl who was intoxicated at the party.
Frysinger initially pleaded guilty to first-degree reckless endangerment, but he later withdrew that plea.
Frysinger was a football stand-out at Corning East High School and received a scholarship to play at the University of Illinois, but is no longer with the team.
