ELMIRA (WENY) --  According to our media partner the Star Gazette, that investment proposal was among a number of projects put forth at the Southern Tier Regional Economic Development Council.

The new attractions would call for re-developing the old federal Post Office building as well as the Star Gazette building.  The new businesses would go in a two block radius between Clemens Center Parkway, East Church Street, and Baldwin and Market Streets.

The project plans will be presented to the state next week.
