Police and Fire crews responded to the Elmira Corning Regional Airport after a flight called for a possible emergency landing.

Big Flats (WENY) - Police and Fire crews responded to the Elmira Corning Regional Airport after a flight called for a possible emergency landing. Airport officials say the landing of Delta Flight 3640 from Detroit was delayed after flight crews called for assistance after reporting a "flap" problem. A code 2 alert was called, and police and fire crews were on scene as the plane landed safely.
