An Elkland Pennsylvania man is being blamed for the dog found frozen to death in an upside down crate
Elkland (WENY) – An Elkland Pennsylvania man is being blamed for the dog found frozen to death in an upside down crate. State Police in Mansfield have charged Matthew S. Stone, 27, with animal cruelty in connection with the frozen dog found last week in Farmington Township.
According to police he was arrested after they interviewed him on Monday. Stone faces a misdemeanor animal cruelty charge and other charges. The dog’s body was found curled up inside a dog crate, upside down in snow-covered brush about 100 feet off Cummings Creek Road in Farmington Township. The name of the dog, according to police, was Charlie. We will continue to cover this story as more details become available.
