OWEGO (WENY) -- According to the Tioga County Sheriff's Office, their Criminal Investigation Division arrested Dale Menendez, age 33 and Lisa Kleine, age 35 both of 151 Talcott Street, Owego, New York on January 17 at 7:30 P.M.
     Both were charged with robbery in the 2nd degree in connection to an incident that occured at the Rite-Aid on Main Street in the Village of Owego on December 9, 2013.
     According to the police report, Menendez used force to take medication from the victim in the parking lot and was assisted by Kleine. This robbery is the first of two robberies is still under investigation.
     Owego Police Department is heading the investigation of the Armed Robbery. Menendez and Kleine were arraigned on the charges in the Town of Owego Court in front of Justice John Schumacher and remanded to the Tioga County Jail on $50,000 cash bail or $100,000 bond.
     Both defendants were scheduled to appear before Justice David Boland in the Village of Owego Court on January 21.
