Two Charged in Avoca Store Burglary
AVOCA, NY (WENY) -- Two men are charged in Steuben County in connection to a convenience store robbery earlier this week.
Investigators say two suspects got into the Avoca Country Market overnight Tuesday, tried to break into the cash register and stole several items. Authorities were able to track down the suspects, and a search warrant uncovered some of the stolen items from one of the suspects home.
A 17-year-old Avoca teen is now charged with third degree burglary in the case. 22-year-old Brandon Congdon of Campbell is also charged with conspiracy. Both men were sent to the Steuben County jail on 5-thousand dollars bail.
