Bath Drug Bust Leads to Three Arrests
BATH (WENY_ -- 71-year-old Theophillus McGill was the latest person to be charged following a Bath drug bust this week.
Officers made the arrests Wednesday after getting reports of criminal activity at a Geneva Street apartment. Officers arrested Dominique and Dennis Pitts, both of Rochester. Both were taken to the Steuben County Jail. Police found the men with a substantial amount of crack cocaine and cash, they believe it was intended to be sold on the street.
On Thursday, officers charged Theophillus McGill with criminal nuisance. They said he knowingly maintained his his residence for the purpose of persons engaging in unlawful drug sale, and derived a benefit from this conduct.
McGill is due back in court on April 7.
