BIG FLATS (WENY) --The town of Big Flats swore in its newly elected board members this afternoon.
Ed Fairbrother was sworn in for his first term as town supervisor, after being elected in November.
He's been a board member for 18 years and says he's looking forward to working with some new and old members.
Also sworn in today were councilmen Andrew Gilette and Lee Giammichele, Town Clerk Linda Cross, and Judge Paul Hart.
"I'm very excited we have a brand new town board basically. I've served on the board for 18 years and we've never had this young of a group to bring new and exciting ideas and that's what we need in government," said Fairbrother.
The town supervisor position is typically a four year term.
