Rochester Man Convicted on Drug Charges
ELMIRA, NY (WENY) -- A Chemung County court jury convicted a Rochester man caught with drugs in Elmira earlier this year.
The jury found 35-year-old Derick Singleton guilty on two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Police arrested Singleton after a routine traffic stop in Elmira back in March. Officers found crack and cocaine in the car, packaging materials, and a large amount of cash.
Singleton will be sentenced next month - he faces six to 15 years in state prison.
