Corning Inc Elmira College Scholarship

ELMIRA (WENY) -- The Corning Incorporated Foundation is partnering with Elmira College to offer a scholarship program and funding for the construction of the Elmira Health and Sciences Center.
The Elmira College-Corning Incorporated Nursing Scholarship will provide students who hold an Associate's in Applied Science degree (A.A.S) from Corning Community College with scholarship funding to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) from Elmira College.
Corning Incorporated Foundation has also approved an additional grant of $250,000 to support construction of the Elmira College Health Sciences Center located in historic Cowles Hall. The university says this state-of-the-art Health Sciences Center, will position the College as a transformation leader in the delivery of health sciences education in this region and beyond. The College expects construction on the Health Sciences Center to be completed in the fall of 2015.
There is a ceremony to honor Corning Incorporated Foundation's generous gift to fund $250,000 in scholarships and $250,000 in construction support for the Health Sciences Center on Tuesday, August 19 at 1:00P.M. in Cowles Hall.
