TOWANDA---(WENY) A toddler has died after a late night house fire in Towanda.

It happened on 112 North Fourth Street just before midnight Friday.

According to the Towanda Borough Police Department there were four people inside when the fire broke out, that includes a mother, father, and two children under the age of three. One of the two children, a 2-year-old died of smoke inhalation.

Police are still looking into the cause of that fire.
