Layoffs Announced at Eaton Corp.

      HORSEHEADS, NY (WENY) -- Eaton Corporation is informing employees it plans to lay off 33 workers at its plan in Horseheads.
      The company cites market conditions and an "challenging business climate." The layoffs are scheduled to take effect on April 1st. Affected employees will be able to meet with representatives from the Department of Labor to discuss job assistance.
        The Horseheads plant employees 275 people, and makes vacuum interrupters.
