Elmira Man Who Resisted Arrest Faces Charges
ELMIRA (WENY) -- An Elmira man who tried to flee police in the Town of Southport now faces multiple charges. Chemung Co. Sheriff deputies arrested 23-year-old Ramonn Driscoll on Sunday. When officers pulled him over for a traffic stop, he fled the scene.
They later learned Driscoll did not have a license and had $1,000 in street value of crack cocaine in the car. The 23-year-old faces several charges including resisting arrest and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
He was taken to the jail on $20,000 cash bail.
