WILMOT TOWNSHIP (WENY) -- Police say alcohol could be to blame for a deadly car accident in Bradford County over the weekend, where a 16-year-old boy died.
It happened in the early morning hours of Sunday when the driver of the car, failed to make a left hand turn on Morris Road in Wilmot Township. The car went off the road and crashed into a wall, overturning the vehicle. The driver was thrown from the car and the two passengers were trapped inside.
The 16-year-old passenger from Sugar Run Pennsylvania was pronounced dead at the scene. The 17-year-old driver and other passenger were flown to Robert Packer Hospital.
An investigation by Pennsylvania State Police indicates speed and alcohol contributed to the crash. No one as wearing a seat belt.
