EAST CORNING, NY (WENY)---One person is dead after a gruesome accident involving two motorcycles and an SUV in East Corning.

It happened at the intersection of the East Corning exit ramp off of Interstate 86 and Route 352. Police say two motorcycles ran a red light and crashed into the front driver side of an SUV.

One of the cyclists died on scene. The other cyclist was transported by ambulance to Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, suffering severe injuries.

The driver of the SUV stayed on scene and did cooperate with police.
