Rathbone (WENY) - A fire that lasted for more than an hour in Rathbone left a house totaled but no one injured. Fire Crews from Woodhull, Addison, Gang Mills, Tuscarora and Thurston were all called to Route 21 in Rathbone for reports of a structure fire. Fire officials believe the fire was started by a wood burning stove in the garage. The fire looks like a torch because a 300 gallon propane tank caught fire, and firefighters had to let all the gas burn off. Family members say the tank was filled on Monday. Fire Crews say the house is probably a total loss. Nobody was hurt and all the pets got out alive.
