CAMPBELL, NY (WENY)---New York State Police confirm 450 gallons of diesel fuel has leaked at Hakes C & D Disposal landfill on Manning Ridge Road in Campbell.

Police say the fuel has moved downhill into a creek that runs into the Cohocton River. Several hazmat teams are on scene including a crew from the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation.

Police also say the leak is a result of a break-in at the facility last night. WENY-TV News has a reporter on scene and will bring you the latest as this story develops.
