Guthrie Corning Hospital Ribbon Cutting

CORNING (WENY)- Guthrie Corning Hospital cut the ribbon this morning on its new high-tech facility. The state of the art hospital includes spacious rooms with 65 beds, 16 emergency room beds, and a cancer treatment facility, making the project over $143-million dollars. The radiation therapy machine is one of the most advanced in the country. Patients normally receiving 10 minutes of therapy, would receive it here in under 70 seconds. The hospital is expected to start admitting patients on July 12th. It's only the second high-tech hospital in the state of New York.
