     AVOCA, NY (WENY) -- A traffic stop in Steuben County ended in the discovery of suspected illegal immigrants on New Year's day.
      A sheriff's deputy pulled over a vehicle on I-86 in Avoca, and discovered 11 Hispanics who could not speak English, and couldn't provide documentation as to why they were in the United States. Three of the suspects were turned over to U.S. Border Patrol for suspicion of human trafficking.
      The rest are now in the Steuben County jail, pending deportation.
