Ithaca Cop Choked by Teen
ITHACA (WENY)--- An Ithaca Police officer was reportedly choked after confronting teenagers spraying graffiti in a Tompkins County parking lot.
Police say it happened Friday just after 5 in the afternoon on the seventh floor of the Cayuga Street Parking garage.
When the police officer approached the four teens, one of them became hostile, put the officer in a choke hold and then ran away. A second officer spotted the teen on the run. He did resist arrest and was tasered, then arrested.
His name is not being released at this time.
