UPDATE: Looking For A Home

Rocky Found A Home

Less than 24 hours after we aired Rocky's story yesterday, he has a new home - just in time for Christmas. We caught up with the Watkins Glen man today who knew he needed to adopt Rocky from the Elmira Animal Control and Shelter, and give him a loving home.

Story from 12/23/2013:

Rocky is one of the eight dogs seized from deplorable conditions from an Elmira home over the summer. Now, he's the only dog left still looking for a home, and currently the only dog up for adoption at the Elmira Animal Control and Shelter. Rocky is a 7 year old lab mix that loves people, but needs to be the only pet in a home, due to the starving and maltreatment he suffered in his former situation.

Rocky is fully vaccinated, neutered, and his adoption fees are paid for! Rocky's looking for a new home for the holidays; the Elmira Animal Shelter is open Christmas Eve from 8am to Noon!
