ELMIRA (WENY) -- An organization that has been helping people in our community fight alcohol and substance abuse is celebrating their five year anniversary today.
Trinity of Chemung County is a not-for-profit organization that provides prevention, education, treatment, referral and recovery services to individuals, families, and communities affected by alcohol, tobacco, and drugs.
They'll be celebrating their five years in the area with an open house from 2PM to 4PM Tuesday.
They're located at 150 Lake Street in Elmira, on the second floor of the Five Star Building. You can go meet the staff and tour their newly renovated facility. Hors d'oeuvres and refreshments will be provided.
Trinity of Chemung County offers assessment and referrals, individual and group counseling, family counseling, women's groups, teen groups and Suboxone treatment. Trinity also offers DDP, (Drinking Driving Program), to those that need such services. New classes are offered every 7 weeks and are held every Monday evening on site.
