SOUTHERN TIER (WENY) -- New Yorkers do not want to let undocumented immigrants have access to state tuition assistance programs for college. That's according to the latest Sienna College poll.
State senators voted down the latest version of the Dream Act in New York last week. The idea had support among state Assembly members.
Estimates put the Assembly proposal to open up tuition assistance to undocumented students at $25 million.
