PA Aggressive Driving Enforcement

PennDOT and Pennsylvania Police are joining forces to crack down on aggressive driving. A state-wide enforcement wave targeting distracted and drowsy drivers, speeding, and work zone violations is going on now until April 28th. It's part of a $2.3million PennDOT investment in the Pennsylvania Aggressive Driving Enforcement and Education Project.
According to Penn Dot Data, 2012 saw 6725 aggressive driving crashes, resulting in 183 deaths. Drowsy Driving accounted for 2673 crashes in Pennsylvania last year, resulting in 29 fatalities.
