DOT Plow Driver Charged with DWI
HECTOR, NY (WENY) -- A Horseheads man is in trouble with the law after a DWI arrest on New Year's day.
Schuyler County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a report of an unresponsive man behind the wheel of a state Department of Transporation snow plow around 4:30 that morning. The plow truck was stopped just off State Route 227 in Hector. They discovered 25-year-old John Condie had a blood alcohol level higher than .08%.
Authorities charged him with Driving While Intoxicated... He's scheduled to answer the charges at a later date.
