SOUTHERN TIER (WENY) -- After hearing concerns from beer, wine and cider manufactures at his annual summit, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is announcing sweeping reforms to keep the industry growing.
Reforms include clarifying standards on brand label registrations, authorizing the sale of "growlers" for beer and cider, eliminating a thousand dollar bond requirement for farm wineries, as well as reducing the costs for manufacturers and wholesalers with multiple licenses by allowing them to deliver all their products in one shipment.
The State Liquor Authority Board adopted these changes immediately.
