Rouille Appears in Corning City Court
CORNING, NY (WENY) -- The Elmira man caught after nearly two weeks on the run was in Corning city court Thursday morning.
Judge Robert Cole would not set bail after Robert Rouille told him he had no job, cash, car, bank account or property. Rouille has shown he is a flight risk by running from cops on more than one occasion.
As we've been reporting, Rouille was caught Tuesday night in the Binghamton area. He's accused of an attempted robbery in Southport, and running from Police in Corning, which launched an hours-long manhunt.
The judge assigned a public defender to Rouille's case and Scheduled his next court hearing for September 5th.
