Sayre Police Make Bath Salts Arrest
SAYRE, PA (WENY) -- Two woman are in the Bradford County jail, accused of selling drugs to a police informant.
Twenty-two year old Nicole Chandler of Waverly and 36-year-old Shannon Kellam are both charged possession, delivery of a controlled substance and other charges. According to court documents, an informant notified police when Chandler texted her she had bath salts to sell.
Police say Shannon Kellam drove Chandler to a house in Sayre, where Chandler sold one gram of bath salts to the informant for $120. They also say Kellam had two hypodermic needles in her purse, an empty baggie containing a powder residue and a container of bath salts hidden in her bra.
Both Chandler and Kellam were arraigned and are now in the Bradford County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bail.
